Thanks to Horse Connections my horse has now found a perfect new home. I had tried advertising in national magazines and local papers at great cost and received only one enquiry.

Advertising in Horse Connections meant that colour photo's could be included, for a fraction of the cost of magazine advertising, and that is what helped to sell my beautiful mare. No amount of words can describe a horse better than a clear colour photo.

Her new owner lives many miles away and without this service they would never have been partnered.

I am happy to say we have found someone to take on Tygat as an annual loan. She is a local girl and is putting Tygat in a yard where he spent four weeks as a temporary resident.. This yard looked after him well and helped with his schooling after a bad experience with a previous yard.

    Thank you once again.

You may remember recently me contacting you, in a panic to inform you my horse had been stolen. I was completely alone, my partner was working and not a friend in sight. I sat in front of my computer, on the internet, mailing who ever I could. I felt alone and totally helpless.

Imagine my surprise when at 9pm at night on a Saturday you mailed me back, full of support, ideas and help. I can not describe to you how it felt, to
be able to share my problems and your offer of holding details of the crime,
in case it could help others who use your site, restored my faith in human
    nature.

Your further communications with me helped to create hope that did not
previously exist. As you know, I was very lucky and got my horse back  and
the joy of that event was also shared with you. I can not thank you enough -
we always assume businesses are run by people wanting to make profit and
nothing else. I mailed many sites that night and can honestly say that it
was your personal attention to my plight that elevated you and your site
head and shoulders above all others.

please print this letter on your site - it comes with heart felt thanks.

At Ayr charity horse show, I received your leaflet and have just logged on tonight. It is good to see someone taking the bull by the horns and getting a web site constructed that actually functions easily and quickly.

I read through the in memoria section. I was touched by the loss of the two year old highland filly who died of acute grass sickness.
Please log on to my own web site, currently being constructed, to promote awareness and raise fund for grass sickness research via interactive web site and sale of soon to be published book. www.maxisangels.co.uk
I will be linking to the moredun fund and to other horse charities and fund raisers.

I remember my own experience at the hands of grass sickness like it was yesterday. The problem is that I think the whole issue of some devious killer of horses and ponies lurking in the grass is much too frightening for many people to really want to find out more, hence, like me, many will bury their head in the sand and not know this killer by it's face.

None of my contemporaries recognised the illness in my pregnant mare and my vet was all ready to put her to sleep with a ?????? over what was wrong with her. I fought for her all the way and we were lucky that she had chronic grass sickness.

I have written a childrens book based on the true story.
My own mare was treated by Dr. Nic Kriz and David Sutton at the Weiper centre.
    Hope your site does well.

    Kind regards
