KINNESS SHETLAND PONY STUD Founded in 1987 by C Brown & Sons.
A stud of approx 20 top quality standard black Shetland Ponies bred from Wells and Millhouse bloodlines. Heights ranging from 38 inches to 42 inches. Great care is taken to produce quality ponies renowned for quiet temperaments, strong bone, and plenty of hair. All our ponies are show quality and have enjoyed considerable success in the showring.
Stud Stallion WELLS DOMINATOR (S96-27/AC2544) - Height 38.5", Born 1993 Sire: Wells Rising Tide (3574) Bred from Royal Highland Show Champions, Male Champion himself at Perth Show in 1999 and now his progeny are making their mark in the showring.
KINNESS MAJOR (1999) - Height 40" Dam: Millhouse Rose. Best foal Fife Show, Alyth Show, 1st prize colt foal and Reserve Foal Champion at Tayside Foal Show - 1999. Now gelded Major was best Junior Gelding at the Central Scotland Shetland Pony Group Show in 2002. He has also recently been broken for driving. SOLD

MILLHOUSE INDEPENDENT Owned and Bred by Mr A M Howie Dam - Millhouse Vitamin. 1st prize yearling and Reserve Junior Champion on the colts first show outing.
MILLHOUSE VOLATILE Owned and Bred by Mr A M Howie Dam - Millhouse Vitamin. As a 3 year old, this filly was 3rd prize at Braco Show, 2nd prize at Black Isle Show, 1st and Junior Champion Kinross Show, all 2002
Kinness bred foals were shown at 4 shows in the summer of 2002 winning three first prizes! Already making their mark in 2003 with a double first at Fife Show.
